Summer may be on it's way out, but that doesn't mean we are packing up the blender or the sun screen just yet!
Even if you don't own a juicer, you can still make these recipes by blending the ingredients on high until well blended, then straining them through a sieve or mesh material (or bag) such as muslin cloth
If you are able to find organic fruits and vegetables that's awesome.. if not try soaking your fruits and veggies in a sink or large bowl of water with 4 parts water to 1 part vinegar and soak for around 20 mins to help remove any pesticides.
For all recipes we suggest adding 1/2 - 1 scoop of Renew+ or a teaspoon of AquaGlow
Recipe adapted from Marin Mama Cooks
Ingredients: (Plus 1 scoop Renew+ or Lemon Lime Splash AquaGlow)
Pour 1 cup of water into the blender. Add in the chopped apple, chopped celery, chopped cucumber and peeled lemon, and blend away until liquefied. Add in the ginger (if using) and the de-stemmed kale leaves and puree until smooth.
Take your sieve or mesh (ie muslin) cloth/bag and place over a large bowl.
If using a sieve, use a rubber scraper to push the juice through the pulp and into the bowl. If using muslin type cloth, bunch up into a bag shape and squeeze out the juice, discarding the pulp at the end.
Ingredients: (Plus 1/2 scoop Renew+ or teaspoon of Tropical AquaGlow)
1 cup cold water
1 peeled orange plus zest, de-seeded
1 heaped tsp turmeric
1 carrot, peeled and chopped
1 green apple cored and chopped
2 inch slice of ginger
Pour water into blender then add remaining ingredients.
Blend until as smooth as possible.
Strain or use muslin cloth/bag as per directions for the previous recipe

1/2 lemon, peeled, de-seeded
1 apple, cored and chopped

1/2 carrot, chopped into small pieces

- Note: If the carrot is left out, and the apple is peeled, you may not need to strain this recipe.
Add water to blender, followed by the rest of the ingredients
Blend until pureed, and if using carrot and un-peeled apple, strain or use muslin cloth/bag as per directions for the previous recipe.
We hope that you get a chance to give these recipes a go! If you do, let us know how you get on, and whether you used a juicer or tried the blender-bowl way of getting it done!
